Kent village sits at the southern tip of the Freetown Peninsula, 35 miles east of the capital along the Atlantic coast. It is a Krio settlement — founded by freed Africans who returned to West Africa and built lives in this geographically striking location where mountains meet the sea. The beach at Kent is one of the finest on the peninsula: golden sand, calm coves, and the Banana Islands visible on the horizon.

Today Kent is also the location of the Eco-Living Oasis — a sustainable residential estate built by Fambul Tik's sister company TpGroup Sierra Leone using compressed earth brick technology. The Oasis opens officially on November 14, 2026, five years from the day its first foundation stone was laid. Your rest day at Kent (Day 8) gives you time to absorb everything: beach swimming, walking the grounds, or quiet reflection by the sea.
